One free Nano for 30 days. Add credit to keep your agents running.

What is included

One Nano machine, 1 GB memory, 10 GB storage, and 2 GiB of total network traffic. Incoming and outgoing traffic count, including setup, uploads, downloads, previews, and terminal traffic. Agent subscriptions and model usage are separate.

Who can claim

Accounts with a verified email can claim one box while the launch allocation lasts. The counter shows unclaimed boxes. Deleting a box does not reset eligibility. Multiple accounts to claim additional trials are not allowed. During the limited beta, new machines come from the free allocation. When no machine is available, join the compute waitlist and explore the interactive demo. Adding credit does not reserve another machine.

When it sleeps

Your trial starts when you claim the machine and lasts 30 calendar days, including time asleep. After three days without human activity in Laurel, the machine sleeps and its agents and servers pause. Background agent activity does not reset this timer. Open the machine to wake it during the trial.

When a limit is reached

We show reminders as time or traffic runs low. Free network access stops at the allowance. Storage cannot grow beyond 10 GB without credit; a full disk can prevent work from being saved. Add credit for continued usage, more storage, or a larger machine. No automatic card charge occurs unless you separately enable auto top-up.

Unused trial time continues after adding credit. When the trial ends, its traffic runs out, or you request an upgrade, available credit enables paid usage at the published rates. Switching to paid usage may briefly restart the machine. Trial-origin machines use prepaid network allowances at $0.30 per GiB for both directions, allocated in 16 MiB blocks. Unused allocated bytes can be lost on a network guard restart. These machines are not also charged the legacy outbound-only traffic rate.

Your saved work

If the trial expires without credit, we stop the machine and save its disk securely. Saved files and stored conversation history remain available for another 30 days. Add credit before the displayed deletion date to restore the machine. Restoration takes longer than waking, does not restore live memory, and may require signing into your agent again.

After the additional 30 days, an unpaid trial and its saved data are scheduled for permanent deletion. The deletion date and reminders appear in Laurel. Export important files before expiry or add credit. Deleting a machine yourself also deletes its saved trial data.

Launch limits

Free boxes have a fixed launch allocation and do not automatically replenish. We may temporarily pause free compute or free wake requests to protect the launch budget or address abuse. Your saved work remains subject to the retention period above. Creating an account and joining the compute waitlist are free. Paid creation of additional machines is unavailable during this limited beta.
